I get this RUSH from coupons/saving money, do you? Here are a few of my favorite apps that I use before I shop.
ibotta (use my referral code nnrbowp for $10 in your account)
I like this app because you can quickly add cash back offers from your favorite or most visited stores. They have grocery, mobile shopping, alcohol, pharmacy, clothing, beauty/wellness, restaurant/bar, and travel categories with cash back opportunities. I most frequently look up cash back offers at Target, Costco, Sprouts, While Foods and Trader Joe’s.
How it works:
- find offers by store or category
- offers are organized by department (new, frozen foods, dairy, snacks, kids…)
- add the offer you like by clicking on the addition symbol and it will turn into a checkmark
- there is no limit to how many offers you can add
- after your shopping trip, open the app and hit the redeem button
- upload a photo of your receipt (ibotta will recognize your offers but you might have to manually enter a few)
- after ibotta reviews and approves your receipt, your cash back is added to your account
- cash out to a PayPal/check once your balance is $20
It’s so easy to earn cash back though ibotta as there are lot of “any brand” rebates and “any item” rebates.
If you do any online shopping, Ebates is a must. Certain online retailers (Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Macy’s) offer a cash back percentage for making purchases.
How it works:
- start at the ebates website here and register
- search for your favorite, participating online retailers
- shop as you normally would
- after you make a purchase, you will be notified of your cash back earnings
- your cash back is paid to you (check or PayPal account) quarterly
Ebates has also started an in-store cash back option. This is only available if you add the in-store offers prior to your purchase.
Any other favorite cash back apps or websites I should try? Let me know.
XOXO,
Heather
